The legal foundation for the business activities of the Studierendenwerk Kaiserslautern as an institution under public law is the Higher Education Act of Rheinland-Pfalz (HochSchG) of September 23, 2020 (GVBl. p. 461, BS 223-41), last amended by the Act of July 22, 2021 (GVBl. p. 453).
On March 2, 2022, the Administrative Council of the Studierendenwerk Kaiserslautern passed the following statutes on the basis of § 112 para. 2 clause 2 in conjunction with § 113 para. § 113 para. 1 no. 1a) of the HochSchG of September 23, 2020 (GVBl. p. 461), last amended by the Act of July 22, 2021 (GVBl. p. 453, BS 223-41), adopted its own statutes.
These were approved by the Ministry of Science and Health in accordance with § 116 para. 2 sentence 1 HochSchG in a letter dated March 17, 2022.
