The mensa at the RPTU campus in Kaiserslautern is introducing new opening hours
To coincide with the start of the 2026/27 winter semester, we are changing the meal serving times. Why? We want as many students as possible to have the opportunity to visit our mensa and enjoy a good meal during lecture times. We will be trialling this until the end of the winter term. Consequently, the following meal service times will apply from 19 October 2026:
For the Freeflow service: Mondays to Thursdays from 11.30 am to 2.00 pm; closed on Fridays
For meal 1 and 2: Mondays to Fridays from 11.30 am to 1.45 pm; on Fridays, one of the two serving times will be extended until 2.00 pm.
These extended opening hours can only be maintained beyond the winter term if meal numbers increase significantly. We therefore appeal to students, staff and guests: please make use of this service during the trial period so that we can continue to offer it in the long term.
