Zweibrücken
Zweibrücken is in the south-west of Rhineland-Palatinate, close to the border with Saarland. The town is home to around 34,500 people and is known for its large park, the Rosengarten. The University of Applied Sciences moved to the former US military base, known as Kreuzberg, in 1994. Alongside the many new buildings, the campus also includes renovated older buildings, such as the old cinema on the US base, which has been converted into the Mensa.
Studierendenwerk Kaiserslautern, with its three sites in Kaiserslautern, Pirmasens and Zweibrücken, runs a modern, comfortable hall of residence in Zweibrücken, as well as contributing to students’ success with a Mensa and counselling and service facilities.
